François Hien est auteur (théâtre, essais, romans…), comédien et réalisateur de films. Il co-dirige avec Nicolas Ligeon la compagnie L’Harmonie Communale, qui monte certains de ses textes de théâtre. Il co-dirige avec Fabrice Osinski la société de production cinéma CinéSilex.
